Step Afrika! is a black step group that gets together for events and performances. November 13, 2023, Step Afrika! came to Benton Harbor High School to perform a step show and to explain what Step Afrika! is about and what they do. They told us their backgrounds, where they came from, and how they ended up where they are now. Some of the members were either currently or formerly a part of a sorority or a fraternity, and some went to college for arts, performance, and dance. Step Afrika! empowers the black community with positive images through dance and more.
